A little about me…

I just turned 30, but I think I’ve been in the middle of a mid-life crisis since I was 18.  I’m always trying to figure out what I want to do with my life, and never coming up with anything practical (unless you know of any openings for professional world traveler).

I’m not sure how it happened (probably like most decisions in my life, for no apparent good reason), but about a year and a half ago I graduated from law school and am now toiling in a job I don’t really want to talk about.  I also have the most amazing husband, BF (again, not sure how that happened, but I’m not going to tempt fate by trying to figure it out).  We have a house and a pretty normal life that sometimes makes me crazy with its normalcy.  To counteract this, on the side I am an amateur stand-up comedian, although I make no promises to be funny on these pages (though I’ll probably talk a lot about my adventures in stand-up comedy because noone besides BF can do anything but shake their head in disbelief when I tell them what I’m doing at night).  Also, I love to backpack…I met my husband backpacking, so I’m ever grateful to the mountains for making him so delirously tired that he fell in love with me.

I wish I had the obligatory other random interesting facts that usually go in the “about” section, but I think I’ve already covered it.
