Show and tell
I was thinking about Sizzle’s post about positivity, trying to figure out something that is making me extremely happy today (I’m still thinking). But one thing that always makes me happy is watching good stand-up comedy. So I thought I’d share clips from some of my favorite comedians (there many more awesome comedians I’d love to share, I’m just having problems getting youtube to cooperate)- hope some of these bring a smile to your face today, too!
This is Jen Kirkman. She’s an amazing comedian- her stuff is intricate and layered and I love that when I listen to her stand-up, I feel like I’m hearing a friend tell the funniest story ever, not like I’m just being set up for a cheesy punchline.
This is Maria Bamford. She’s a genius. Seriously, if you have some time, watch her show on Superdeluxe.com- “The Maria Bamford Show” …hilarious (definately start with the first episode, the characters build as the show goes on).
Here’s Zach Galifianakis, he makes me giggle uncontrollably:

it was incredibly difficult to not bust out laughing at my desk watching those. hilarious! maria is fanfuckingtastically funny!
Oh good! If you like Maria Bamford, definately check out her show on Superdeluxe…the episodes are like 3-5 minutes long. It made me fall even more in love with her!
